We're about to begin our Spring 2015 semester! Whoo! That means summer will be here before you know it ;)
Make the most of your summer by traveling AND getting credit for school. It is SO important to get travel and field school experience as an ANTH undergrad. Take advantage of this time! :)
Here are a couple trips to start you off - we'll post more as we find them! Get out there and get learning!
Himalayan Anthropology Expedition
Especially for those interested in ethnomedicine, this field school will take place June 24 - July 15 in the Himalayan region of northern India.
Check out himalayanhealth.com for more information!
Archaeological Field School
Experience real archaeological work in Spain, located at a Roman settlement between the cities of Segobriga and Ercavica.
Check out arqueoexperiences.es. You know you wanna :)
If you email Dr. Davenport (bad@unt.edu) and let her know you are interested, she can hook you up with a sweet brochure and other info.
See you cool cats soon! Can't wait to get going with ASA again.

Spring 2017 Meeting Time: Fridays 5:00 PM in BLB060
We are a group of students at the University of North Texas in Denton. We focus on educating ourselves and others about the four fields of anthropology, and how they are relevant to our daily lives.
We spend our time giving back to our community (on and off campus), holding events for fellow students, and exploring new ways to have fun.
If you're at UNT, feel free to come hangout! All Anthro majors, minors, and enthusiasts are welcome. :)
Feel free to email us with any comments or questions - anthropeopleunt@gmail.com
