Spring 2017 Meeting Time: Fridays 5:00 PM in BLB060

We are a group of students at the University of North Texas in Denton. We focus on educating ourselves and others about the four fields of anthropology, and how they are relevant to our daily lives.
We spend our time giving back to our community (on and off campus), holding events for fellow students, and exploring new ways to have fun.

If you're at UNT, feel free to come hangout! All Anthro majors, minors, and enthusiasts are welcome. :)

Hang out With the Cool Kids

From Molly (GASA President) :

Dear fellow anthropologists-in-training,
The Graduate Anthropology Student Association (GASA) would like to extend an invitation to join us for an informal meet-up next Friday, November 21st. This may be a good opportunity for you to mingle with current graduate students and department faculty and staff to chat and network. We especially welcome folks who are thinking about applying this year for entrance in Fall 2015.
We are planning on meeting at 4:00 Friday November 21st at Mulberry Cantina (http://mulberrystcantina.com/). There will be complimentary chips and salsa, along with some beverages of your choosing. As it is an explicit bar, please note that underage individuals may be restricted from attending. We do apologize for any inconvenience. For those who can join us, we hope to see you there!
If you have any questions, don’t hesitate to contact me.
Molly Shade, GASA Co-President
